6月2日凌晨在香港尖沙咀重庆大厦内发生一起强奸案，受害女子21岁，是来自北京一所名牌大学的在校生。6月1日，她与另一位女同学自助到港旅游，入住重庆大厦，该女生在公共浴室洗完澡回到房间时，一名男子经过，看见女孩身上只裹着毛巾就推门而入，将女孩强奸。女孩随即报警，警察在5小时内将作案男子抓获。被捕疑犯26岁，印度籍，是重庆大厦内一名送货工人，目前案件已经交由重案组跟进。
